On October 18, 2023, PT SOG Indonesia conducted a VMS (Vessel Monitoring System) awareness event at Pelabuhan Ratu, West Java. The objective of this activity was to introduce the VMS tool to ship owners at Pelabuhan Ratu with the hope of providing significant benefits to fishermen and the surrounding community.

The PT SOG Indonesia team actively engaged in awareness campaigns at various ship-owning companies located around Pelabuhan Ratu. In a single day, the team delivered presentations, provided in-depth explanations about the VMS tool, and addressed questions posed during the awareness session. As part of this event series, PT SOG Indonesia received support from the Management of the Indonesian Fishermen’s Association branch in Pelabuhan Ratu. Additionally, PT SOG Indonesia had the opportunity to visit the Office of the Supervisory Unit of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries at Pelabuhan Ratu, where they were warmly welcomed by the facility and infrastructure supervisor.
